I am Maria, a Computer Science student at John Brown University and an international student from Honduras—a small country underneath Guatemala and next to El Salvador. I enjoy doing front-end coding because I believe it is like making art come to life with code. In my free time, I enjoy reading books of all kinds, especially from Latin American authors and Encyclopedias, learning new coding concepts that interest me, volunteering for almost any cause, and drawing even though it is not my forte. During the weekends, I teach children how to code with Python, and when semesters are easygoing, I work at my school’s bookstore. I am also known for liking the languages that many dislike such as C++ and assembly language. I also firmly believe that education can change me and the world and that flexboxing can be use to make any webpage.
